This Privacy and Cookie Policy (here in after “Policy”)applies to any person using one or more of the following

  • the .eu website (www.knave.eu) of KNAVE SAS whose registered office is located at 66 Avenue des Champs Elysées 75008 PARIS and/or,
  • any other website of subsidiaries or affiliates of the KNAVE SAS group that can be consulted here (itbeing understood that KNAVE SAS and its subsidiaries or affiliates of the KNAVE SAS group are here in after collectively referred to as “KNAVESAS”)
  • all mobile applications, online forms and subscriptions, products, services, and social networks operated by KNAVE SAS where a link to this Policy is provided (the foregoing referred to here in after individually as the “Platform” and jointly as the “Platforms”).

Each Platform is managed by the KNAVESAS entity defined in the terms of use of the Platform and in any other documents presented there in.

IMPORTANT POINTS

KNAVE SAS is committed to protecting your Personal Data in accordance with its internal policies andapplicablelaw.

This Policy informs you of our practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Datayou may provide to us through our Platforms. It also describes your data protection rights, including the right to object to certain processing activities performed by KNAVE SAS. – When you have subscribed to our direct or indirect marketing lists (“Marketing and Promotions” communications may be sent to you through social networks, email, mail or any other communication channel); and/or
– When we collect your consent, we inform you about how we intend to use your  Personal Information.

2 – In order to perform our contractual obligations in the following cases: –
When you subscribe to our products and/or services and agree to the terms and conditions
relating to those products and/or services;

– When you register to participate in an event organized by KNAVE SAS;

– To process a payment, for any communication regarding a payment and/or to provide you with

– For the establishment of a contract; and
– If you apply for a position within a KNAVE SAS company.

3 – In the context of our legitimate interest, in particular in the following cases: –
To provide you with access to our products and services or to specific documents or information
that you may have requested during a visit to our Platforms;
– When you have given your opinion or participated in surveys, polls, offers or customer questionnaires;
– When we record our telephone conversations for the purpose of training our employees
and/or following up on your requests; –
To review your inquiries so that we can best assist you or to enable us to investigate any complaints received from you;

work regulations;
– To report to the appropriate authorities any activity that we suspect may violate applicable laws
or regulations.

TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA

The types of Personal Data we collect include:

– Your name, first name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, identification, photograph;
– Your secure connection identifier when accessing secure areas on our Platforms;
– The way in which you have known us;
– Details of your complaints;
– Any information voluntarily submitted via our Platforms, for example through “free text” areas
(i.e. blank spaces in which you are free to insert comments);
– Our exchanges, including information relating to your personal and professional interests, your professional needs or opinions, your experience with our products or services and your contact preferences;

– Your online browsing behavior on our Platforms; including the navigational path of URLs (Uniform Resource Locators) to, through and from our Platforms or social networks (including date and time), download errors, the duration of your visits to certain pages, information about your interaction on our Platforms (such as scrolling, clicking and pointing), and methods used to leave the page;
– Any device you used to access our products and services (including brand, model and operating system, IP address, browser type and mobile device identifiers).
In some cases, we may collect additional Personal Information to enable us to provide you with the most appropriate response. If you do not provide us with the Personal Information requested, your access to the service or our ability to assist you may be limited.
Your Curriculum Vitae (CV) as part of an application and any general information we may receive from people acting for you as a reference, your LinkedIn profile, the recruitment firm you work with (if any) ;

SENSITIVE PERSONAL DATAS

No sensitive Personal Data is requested from you on our Platforms.

USE OF ANONYMOUS DATA

For marketing research purposes, we may purchase or collect anonymized and aggregated data sets or anonymized and aggregated transaction and purchase histories from data providers.

You have the right to access your Personal Information and the right to rectify any inaccuracies. If you exercise your right of access, we will provide you with a copy of the Personal Information we hold about you. PERSONAL DATA OF MINORS

Our Platforms are not directed at minors under the age of 18. Therefore, we will not knowingly collect or process Personal Data about them.

GOODS AND SERVICES PROVIDED BY A THIRD PARTY

We will not send you information about goods and services from third parties other than KNAVE SAS unless you specifically request it.

THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES

Where links on our Platforms lead to websites that do not belong to KNAVE SAS, we shall not be
responsible for these websites and accept no liability for them.

These third party websites will be governed by different terms of use (including different privacy
and cookie policies) and you are solely responsible for viewing and using these sites.

We will not be responsible for the manner in which your Personal Information is processed by
third party sites. These websites are not covered by this Policy.

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

With the exception of our subcontractors subject to a contract regarding the processing of Personal Data that reproduces the obligations set forth in the EU Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council adopted on April 27, 2016, when it is necessary to involve a third party service provider (in particular for the provision of innovative solutions, of data analytics, customer management, data hosting or for the performance of audit and compliance engagements) for the performance of our contractual obligations or pursuant to applicable law or regulation, we will not transfer identifiable, non-aggregate Personal Data.

Intra-group transfer by the controller

KNAVE SAS is part of a group of companies whose lead entity is KNAVE SAS, whose registered office is 66 Avenue des Champs Elysées 75008 Paris.

Transfers outside the European Union

Non-European countries may have data protection laws that are less protective than the laws of your country of residence (for example, the United States).

If so, our transfers of Personal Data will be governed by standard contractual clauses applicable to transfers of Personal Data outside of the European Union (or outside of jurisdictions deemed “adequate” by the European Union for the protection of Personal Data).

Sale or merger

If KNAVE SAS or its assets are acquired or merged with another company outside the KNAVE SAS group, some or all of the Personal Data collected by KNAVE SAS may be transferred to the acquiring company. We will use our best efforts to encourage the acquiring company to comply with applicable law and this Policy.

RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA

If you have provided us with Personal Data, it will be retained for the duration of our interaction, as required by law, or for a reasonable period of time in accordance with the purposes of collection (we or our contractors will modify or delete your Personal Data when it is no longer required).

In determining the applicable retention period, we take into account the purpose for which we process your Personal Data i.e. the purpose of the processing, the type of Personal Data, local legal requirements, the risk of infringement of the individual’s data protection rights, and whether the purpose of processing the Personal Data can be achieved by another means.

Your Personal Data is retained for ten (10) years from your last interaction with our Platforms or from the end of your contract with us.

Some data may be kept (invoices, estimates, credit notes) for a reasonable period of time for commercial purposes, for backup, archiving or auditing purposes. The mandatory retention period is ten (10) years for invoices.

Personal Data collected from applicants who are not selected will be deleted or, if your application is likely to be suitable for other positions, subject to your consent, your Data will be retained for up to one year after you submit your application.

Cookies are kept for a maximum of thirteen (13) months from their collection.
